With it being in the high 60's today and rain with cold weather coming in a couple of days i installed my Steeda Watts Link. If you do your own repairs like brakes, water pumps, alternators, etc. you won't have any trouble installing a Watts Link. The directions were pretty good also. I went over railroad tracks and rough roads, no extra sounds
. Too soon to post about the handling. Here is a picture of it

Thanks Glenn.
Your right Ken, the spare bedroom doesn't look the same without it
. Ever since my dog (Chico) took up with you, things haven't been the same

Glenn, it was going so fast and smooth i had to stop and re-read the directions several times. Everthing fit perfect. I backed my Mustang onto 'ramps' and did it in my carport. It took me around 3 hours but i had several phone calls and took my dog out to pee a few times
.
.
David, looks great, please keep us posted on the handling once you have had an opportunity to put her through her paces.
BTW, what made you go with the Steeda Watts linkage over the Fays2?

I went with the Steeda Watts Link because it is suppose to be more quiet than the Fays2 because of the type of bushings they use. I hear 0 extra sounds so far.
I did a few, hard high speed curves today. I run 35 psi in my tires. Feels like the rear tires are biting the asphalt harder now. I need to test more but looks like a few days of rain and cold temperatures are coming tonight

I removed it today because it is just too low to the ground for me
. I'd hate to hit something on the highway and rip my rear-end off
Here is a picture of what i'm talking about.
Only took around 45 minutes to remove.

David,
If I recall correctly you didn't install lowering springs, correct? If that is true then don't think I can consider Watts-Link because I'm planing on lowering mine 1" and it will be worst for me.

No Roberto, the axle won't be lower to the ground when you lower your Mustang. Just the body
I think?

Will you switch to that now?

I don't know. All the pictures of the Steeda Watts link i've seen looks like it (axle clamp) wouldn't hang down that far. Pictures of the Fays2 looks like it (axle clamps) wouldn't hang down too far also. It does look like the axle clamps on the Fays2 "might not" hang down as far but its hard to tell from a picture of one not mounted.
The Fays2 clamp does not hang as low as it doesn't have that adjustment slot. Here's a pic, and you can see that the clamp is about equal to the bottom of the differential housing....

I cut out the adjustment slot on my Steeda Watts Link. Didn't need it
. I think with the extra 1 1/2 inch of ground clearance, i might be able to live with it. I'm going to install just the axle clamp to see how much ground clearance i'll have. Its too cold outside to do it now
It will be cleaned up and painted before i re-install it.
