Just bought a 14 Mustang V6
Like said before it depends on your budget and if you want to look better (exterior mods like spoilers, tint, rims), handle better (springs, shocks, sway bars), go faster (CAI, tune, gears), or sound better (headers, axle back).

Cold Air Intake with tune ... if you are looking for a quick performance enhancement ... suspension wise ... lowering springs, panhard bar, shock & struts, and mounts.
There are many ways to go ... these cars are great!
Congrats on the purchase.
Best Regards,
TJ

Depending on what you want to do...
Speed? Tune and CAI or Gears or Exhaust... or all!
Looks? Wheels
Handling? As TJ (Steeda) said before^^
But first and foremost! Congratulations on the new car! Best mod ever... new car smell!

Floormats, painted mirror covers, leather seat covers if applicable, gt500 spoiler, exhaust, CAI and tune.
Yes in that order. Get some quality floormats now. You will thank me later.
Swing your wheels last as they will hit your wallet the hardest plus you have time to get to know your car.

Don't forget the Stripes
I've owned Mustangs on and off since 1974. I currently have a 2012 base V6 auto, and I've spent just a few hundred dollars south of $20k on mine (so far). It's also paid off (in less than a year). Mods happened in the following order (as near as I can recollect):
Window tint
Tires/wheels
Body kit
Panhard bar, springs and shocks
Stereo/speakers
Painted mirror covers
Sway bars
Shorty antenna
Shelby leather steering wheel
Auto-dimming rear-view mirror
Headers
Rear adjustable LCA's and LCA relocation brackets
Cat-backs
CAI/tune
Aluminum driveshaft
3.73 gears
Slotted/dimpled GT brake rotors and Hawk HPS pads
Steeda front LCAs
Bump-steer kit
In the queue:
Battery relocation (have the parts, just gotta do it)
Planned:
Corbeau seat harness bar
Racequip 4-point harness (link-n-latch, because I'm OLD, and it's cheaper that way)
Watts link
Corbeau CR1 seats (if I decide I need them)
Final goal:
Autocross monster
I think a properly setup 3.7 V6 would make a totally awesome road-race or autocross car.
BTW, my warranty no longer exists, but I'm having a helluva good time driving the car.

for every 2 visual mods do a performance mod.. For me on my new 2013 was Boss grill, Fogs, Drive shaft.. Next will be the CAI and tune (removing the speed limiter) getting CAI and a tune without changing the drive shaft is a mistake. Getting a tune usually removes the speed limiter and going over 115 with the stock drive shaft is a bad thing.. There is a youtube video that shows what can happen.. Very very bad things..
