next mod….wheels and tires!
Nice good to hear they are helping some v6 guys as much as the v8 guys. I have my LCAs on the way. I had a Steeda UCA & mount but wasn't happy with it so I sent it back. I will probably get a BMR one.

When is a UCA needed vs just nice to have. I will be installing my new BMR PHB, LCA, lowering springs, and sways but I dont know if I should get the UCA or just stay with the lowers as I dont track the car.

Hey Matt did you get your susp. parts installed no prob.? If you have wheel hop UCA & mount will def. get rid of it. Just LCAs might. If you don't have any wheel hop them a UCA will improve your handling but is not a must from what I gather. I don't have one and have only minimal wheel hop when I gun it. I know the higher in gears you go the more crucial a UCA/good tires can become due to traction issues? I do plan to install both for better handling and because i plan to make more power than I do now.

No I have not installed my parts yet. I just picked up my Koni's yesterday and my LCA relocation brackets are in the mail. When those get here (and John aka Roadrunner" has the time) we will start on the install. Luckily my work schedule give me 3 days off in a row so I have time to tear into her and not have to rush stuff to much.
Honestly I dont know if I have wheel hop as I have never really put the suspension to the test yet. I simply hate the soft handling on the car so I wanted better spring. Well better springs led to new shocks/struts, which led to getting a better PHB, which led to why not do new/better LCA's while your at it, which led to "hey mind as well replace your sway bars while the whole suspension is apart"....you guys know what I'm saying. Point is while the whole suspension is apart is it worth it to get a new adj UCA? Honestly for me I think not, I already have about $1300 tied up and really dont want to spend another $250 or so for a part that in reality I dont need to have.

Matthew

AJ..just got back to this thread.

Yes I have wheel hop. It's more of an annoyance than anything, but it is putting more stress on things. Control arms are a wise investment in my opinion.
