FRPP Strut Brace fitting the 3.7 V6

It seems like it will work and even FRPP has it listed for the 2011.

But the vendors has it thru 2010 only.

Ford Racing Performance Parts - [Part Details]

and vendor

Ford Racing Strut Tower Brace 2005-10 Mustang V6 M-20201-F - Free Shipping

I want that strut brace. Just dont want to order it and not fit and have to deal with re-selling or return.

Any suggestions, or anyone using it on their 3.7, i'm just worried about the clearance, especially since i'm adding the nice engine cover too.

You do know that the V-6 convertibles have a really nice strut brace standard...why not just buy that one?

I don't think strut tower brace from the '05-10 V6 will fit the 3.7 V6. The one from the '10 GT will though.

It'll work, a guy on another forum put one on his and he had plenty of clearance.

I think the OEM brace looks better and it's $50 cheaper but whatever trips your trigger.

Bulky? Stock one looks a lot trimmer to me.

Really?

Hmm we are opposite

Well I ordered it anyways, i think it will look nice. Plus it will be different than the trend.

Apparently it's the same one Bullit's use.

180$ Shipped, so only 30$ difference.

To each their own I installed a strut tower brace from BMR made for the 2010 G.T. on my V-6. All these 'factory' parts (strut tower brace and engine cover that Ford calls an engine insulator) are just now beginning to be sold the the public.

If this works, then I possible can take my strut brace from my Shelby GT/SC that no longer fits with the whipple h.o. and slap it on the Pony. I do however like the new style they are installing with the Performance and MCA editions.

Click on the OPs original links. Both suppliers now list 05-11 V-6 fit.
