The only problem with this video is the acoustics....it sounds like they're in a garage. On the road these will sound a lot higher pitched....

Flow masters are the best looking too. I was never a fan of the partially exposed mufflers. I love how those mufflers are flat and dark. They make the exhaust tips the focal point.

Btw, real mufflers pop, gurgle, rumble, and hum depending on the load. That back pressure "popping" is a good sound in my opinion. I have flow masters 40 series with an H-pipe on my 2000. they are loud and i love the occasional pop pop pop.

The roush mufflers sound like a chainsaw cutting through a coffee can.... but they are consistent sounding and loud as well. lol To each his own.

Ford Racing really do sound good. Everyone has their own opinion. However, I don't believe there are any mufflers that will make a V6 sound like a V8.. The FR mufflers have a nice throaty rumble when you start up, low tone at idle but once you're over 3500 RPM, they scream.. They are exactly what I wanted, quite when cruising but aggressive when you step on it. Just my 2 cents

Well I know they won't mimic the V8 sound but I want it to be closer to a v8 sound and not a ricer v6 sound like a 370z

370Zs can sound fantastic..... You've got to embrace the sound of a v6 and stop pretending or you won't be happy! FRPPs are really nice

The roushs have horrendous drone and are really really loud. Do a quick search on the forum and you'll see a ton of people selling them. They do sound good in the videos though, just WAY too loud in my opinion.

I think the FRPPs are great, just not the roushs. Have you checked out any Borla videos?

lol v6 ricer sound of a 370z? wow hahah someone is highly ignorant and narrow minded. A ricer is a car that has very little power ( like all those 88 hp early 90s hondas ) with a loud exhaust flooring it and swerving and trying to race everyone thinking they have a 600 whp car.

The 370z is not a "ricer" it can be RICED though but that car has my second favorite exhaust tone because it's so exotic sounding and in no way a cheap rattle fart can like real ricers... the car is even RWD u___u
