which exhaust??
My $.02, from another thread:
Also, you need to keep in mind that "sounds better" is totally subjective. Some questions you need to ask yourself:
-- What volume of exhaust am I looking for?
-- What kind of drone can I live with?
-- Am I looking for deep and mellow or race and raspy?
-- Are there any local laws I need to keep in mind (for instance, removing cats or noise ordinance, especially if you live in a place with an HOA)
---- subset of that -- if you're going to track your car, does your local track have a noise limit?

In my opinion, deeper tones imply "muscle" but others might say "volume" is what makes it. And if you drive your car every day as transportation, drone might get really old, really fast.
Choose carefully!
People are saying they spent $200 on OEM mufflers themselves, but I don't know where they're buying them. You might be able to get a muffler shop to do your pipes cheaper if you take the mufflers to them.

I'm leaning towards the Flowmasters Force 2 their sound is almost Identical to the ford performance racing exhaust and they cost several hundreds less
They are a good choice if you're looking for something more mellow than the roushs. Good tone and quiet while cruising but definitely open up under throttle. plus, I LOVE the fact that the muffler portion is black. It makes those big 'ol stainless tips stand out.
latemodelrestoration.com has em for even cheaper now
I would seriously check them out in person before you get the flows for the v6, the honestly sound like a popcorn machine when it pops I don't even know why
