My car was purchased used a short time ago, it has loud exhaust. "Pype Bomb" mufflers are probably the closest thing to no mufflers at all. I have a set of "Ford Performance" mufflers on order from my local dealer for my 3.7l
What axle backs do you have along with the pros and cons you have experienced so I can feel better about my incoming parts.
When I was looking at an axle back for my car it was down to Borla and FRPP Mufflers, I went with the Borla mainly because the tips were bigger. You are going from the Worst to one of the Best IMHO.
Went with the FRPP axle backs, came in this morning and just installed them. Very happy so far with the decision. Huge improvement. Chrome tips vs the black ones I took off.

Borla manufactures the FRPP mufflers for all 2011-current Mustang models to FRPP specifications, which is the reason the tips have smaller 3.5" tips vs the larger 4" tips on the Borlas.

FPP Touring Axle Back M-5230-MV6CA FPP Sport Axle Back M-5230-MV6LA
So the only ones the local Ford dealer could order were the M-5230-MV6CA, other numbers were discontinued and this was it. They do appear cosmetically a bit different then the above photos as on the chrome tip, it just says Ford. Embossed on the muffler besides Ford racing, it is stamped "by borla" I feel they are the touring style as while steady driving they are decent quiet. Idling and running thru the gears, they mimic to me a stock standard gt sound.
As earlier, for me they are the correct choice, hands down. Even at a tad over $800 a set.

The reason for the cosmetic differences over the above photos, is your touring mufflers M-5230-MV6CA are the latest revision, where as the photos I attached above were from older versions..
Nevertheless, they are the very same M-5230-MV6CA touring muffler manufactured by Borla for Ford Racing as posted above!
I just bought the same car with the exception of a few additional scoops.
How is the exhaust at cruising speed? I just traded in My Rubicon with an AFE system and the drone was too much

If you are referring to me, there is some drone but not bad. I've had them on for so long now, I don't notice it anymore.

If you are asking about the Ford ones, silent at cruising speed, love them. Even at $850.
