WTB Sound Tube Cap.
I'd rather spend the $8 more so it wouldn't look like a complete and utter hack job like that ****. If your to cheap to spend a few more bucks to at least make it look decent, owning and modifying a brand new mustang is probably a poor choice of a car to have.

Wow, *******. Even. I said it looked like ****. And it was a temp temporary fix. My car has a Steeda CAI. But when I had to plug the hole with something because I bought the car with a peice of shut JLT and no sound tube. A friend had a factory air box he gave me. Owning and modifying a fairly new mustang is all I have done since I was 16. This is my 7th mustang and if I want to spray paint it bass boat glitter gold with and duck tape ground effect to it, it's none of your ****ing concern.
Ok ok settle down everyone. Ordie, there was no reason to insult him like that. Kris, i understand you are offended byt please dont fuel this fire.
Now shake hands like adults and lets keep such negatives off the site. Thank you and have a nice day!

I used the end of a fishing rod (pole) on mine!
Parts used were this gasket for the firewall

and a fishing rod (Pole) end cap for the induction side

The tube is easy to remove

and the engine compartment is much more tidy once gone..

I actually got Dave at Hertford Tyre and Exhaust (UK based car) to do the job as the car was in for routine service before going over to France anyway and I wanted to make sure the induction side was completely air tight. The fishing rod end cap actually had a small hole in it to make it easier to slide on to a fishing pole - Dave had the brainwave of putting a self tapper in the hole to seal it - something I would never have thought of. Looks as if it was supposed to be like that !

The car sounds much better inside without it.
V8 member how the Fk do you change the profile anyone?
