Why? Because they're cheap and sound good. After two backorder extensions, I cancelled my GT500 order and bought Borla S-types. OMG they sound fantastic. The Roush's are too raspy/shrill and gurgly IMO. I'm actually really glad they were so backordered, because I freakin' LOVE my Borla's (even despite being quite a bit more expensive than the GT500s).

 

Roush are loud on cold start & when accelerating anything past easy throttle. When you stomp it will get plenty of attention. Sounds mean! No drone @ 70-80 on highway.

 

The Borla's are deep and rumbly; trademark Mustang, like the GT500s, only amped up a bit. When getting on it a bit and shifting, it sounds exactly like Bullit did during the car chase scene. Here's my Borla's, cold start:

 

Sounds great. The Borlas are amazing sounding. I love my stype catback!

 

If I didn't have them already, I would be interested.
