Whiteline Parts day Pt II- Tranny Mount Bushing, LCA Relos, & UCA
I had this new bushing thrown on while the WL LCA relo brackets and updated UCA were installed and I am very pleased.
KDT98 - Trans Mount Bushing:
I was initially concerned about increased NVH, but I have no negative comments on this end. If any sound has increased, it might be a little more rumble from the motor, which I welcome - could be my imagination, though - it's not obvious. What is obvious, however, is the ease of shifting! I no longer have a notchy feel going from N-1, 1-2. I no longer have trouble finding 3rd at high RPMs. The feel is greatly enhanced with no negative consequences.
Revised UCA:
After receiving a notice of the recall, I lined up for my replacement. The new unit went in without incident and is performing extremely well. My older unit had zero signs of fatigue.
LCA Relo Brackets:
After dropping my car on Steeda Sports @ 1.25" rear, my LCAs were angled up at the rear axle, reducing my traction by a very noticeable margin. With the addition of these brackets, my LCAs are now angled down slightly at the rear axle and the car grips like a beast from a dig and on heavy throttle corner exits. This is the first time I've been able to feel the car deliver the goods without wheel spin.
All in all - a HUGE increase in driving pleasure and the feeling of confidence that I have while shifting and applying heavy throttle is something you can't put a price on. The car feels extremely balanced, poised, and confident. I'm the biggest fan of Whiteline's gear and have no regrets at this point.
