What Supercharger will work with Coyote with Auto Trans?

I'm looking at getting a 2011-14 GT with Auto Tranny. Just wondering if I can put a supercharger on it later.

I'm looking at Ford Racing website and it doesn't look like they offer their whipple for the Coyote coupled with an Auto Tranny. They all say for a manual only.

Is the 2011-14 AT tough enough or a Super Charger?

Thanks!!

Yes. Some 9 sec. cars are running the stock auto.

I don't think a supercharger will "only" work for a auto or manual. Usually, each kit has a piece (extra hose fitting, etc) in it to adapt it to a manual or auto. Tranny wise, any supercharger should work.

A lot of times it's based more on the tune, or lack of tune for an auto if you will.

Yeah, I guess I knew that. It comes down to the kit and the tune. I'm just concerned because everywhere I look. Roush, or Ford Racing Whipple, they only show the "for Manual Transmissions" kits. I read that as they don't make a kit for an Auto Trans. If one were to use the manual trans kit, would they still warranty it or tune my ECU?

I guess I am looking for the reassurance that it can be done safely with decent horsepower increases. I was/am thinking about a SC for my 2005GT but I am really tired of driving a manual and would like to go auto.

Thanks!

We have a few customer's running low 10's, high 9's with the Roush TVS system with auto's. The Roush does very well with the coyote. We offer custom kits as well as Roush phase kits. If you have any questions at all just let us know

This isn't exactly what the OP originally asked, but think it fits the topic. Does the roush tune, or other supercharger manufacturer's tune, adjust shift points for the auto like other performance tunes? Maybe dumb question but was curious.

Best to get it tuned when you install, as everyone is different, and your mods are different.

the 625 kit also works on the auto. VMP also sells a tvs for autos with more hp.

Buy the Roush TVS tuner kit along with a 82mm pulley, Get a hand held tuner and a tune from a reputable tuner and you'll see 600 HP at the wheels.
Do some research on who tunes Coyote's.
