tuners for vortech SC

So,
I think I am about ready to pick up a SC from Stage 3 motorsports in 3 to 4 weeks. To keep the cost down I am selecting the option to not have a tuner and tune sent with the kit. Out the door price would be 4789.00 to include a coupon for $60.00

Anyone have any suggestions on some good tuners for the vortech line of SC?

I thought Lund did mainly PD setups. Good to know.

I checked on the BC website and they have them at around 6k for a full kit.
As far as I can tell, the stage 3 kit is complete with air cooler and fuel injectors for 5099 with tuner and 4849 without. Maybe it's missing something if there is such a big price difference.

You need to call a Terry for a price. Also Jay is another vendor I highly recommend looking into.

Thanks for the info.. I will most likely go with stage 3. I hate to say it but I like the idea of financing part of the SC. I know I should wait and pay all upfront but I have 3k saved up and thought why the heck not and go ahead and get the remainder of kit financed for 12 mos zero interest.

Yeah,...that's not a bad deal at all. Especially if you have 3k saved up for it already and it's a year free of interest.
Just make sure you will have the money for it, I can only imagine how high the interest rate will be after the 1 year of interest free!! $$$$$$
lol

We just got through installing a Vortech V3 SC and it was remote tuned by Jon Lund II. I will say I will NEVER use another tuner after our experience with Lund. I have had good success with MPT on NA tunes, but we got the Beefcake Special and it included tuning with Lund. We loaded the first base tune and the car ran great. Set up the remote tuning with Lund and it is so easy and efficient. Log on, attach your data logs and he will view them and attach revisions within an hour. Usually a half hour. Instructs you what logs to run and log and attach your logs on the open session. He made 5 revisions to get it perfect and I can say, the car runs UNBELIEVABLE. Beautiful idle, and drives so "normal" under normal conditions. Go into boost and you better be belted in. It is awesome. I have purchased big ticket items from both Beefcake and Stage 3 Motorsports and TBR is absolutely the best to deal with. Customer service is impeccable, prices will beat any others and the guy is honest, not your typical salesman pushing you to buy something you don't want or need. If you are going to invest this much into a mod, don't half *** it. Make sure you realize what you are getting for the price you are quoted. You need to CALL Terry and ask for the Special, not the general one listed on his web site.
