Thanks for the update. My key should hopefully be here this coming week

Mine arrives late this coming week as well. Sounds like the wait will have been worth it.

I've read through this thread, great info - curious if anybody has done the pro-cal "track cal" for this or not.

I have a 13 so I cannot have a track key... any info regarding this would be appreciated. I'm very interested.

If the Track Key could account for an O/R H-pipe, or even just a 3" catted H, I would go for it, but I doubt it can. It would be nice to just use the Track Key and have the better tune along with turning off the O2 sensors...

I have my tracal tuner in hand. For my 2013
I talked to ford racing quite a bit about this new tune.
I should have it installed by Friday night. Can't wait.
If you want one and want great customer service call
Buy ford racing. Com
Ask for Mike he will pickup the
Kit the following morning himself since they are both in Michigan and email you the voucher code and the next day you can have your procal tuner in hand. .$399.

well I am Not sure if I am the first to have the new Procal track cal tune with lopey idle and rev control capabilities installed but I just got it installed couple hours ago and I just wanted to say the customer service from Mike at Ford Svt and Mike from Buy ford racing is outstanding.
I was worried when my car started running rough after about a mile of driving it. Then I noticed that of I shut it off it would idle great for about 2minutes then idle rough.
Figured I should read over the directions again. Sure enough the lopey idle is enabled all the time on this tune.
Unless you hold down the off button on the steering wheel for at least 5seconds while starting the car.
I figured I would right this on case anyone has rough in issues with this just released tune. It's supposed to idle that way until you disable it

If you think about it, this is pretty funny. I mean, one of the reasons I like the TracKey/Track Cal is the lopey idle but I can totally see myself freaking out about the car running crappy after getting the tune before I remember that "it's a feature."

Ya It was funny afterwards. I just assumed you had to activate the lopey idle not deactivate it.

My key arrived today. The voucher and key are in a plastic bag. The voucher is a yellow sheet of paper and is titled "Ford Racing Boss 302 Track Key Voucher". There is a Voucher ID typed on this paper half way down.
The key is not red like the Boss but is black and says Ford Racing on it.

The voucher explains how to install and says the dealer should apply a labor charge of an hour. It then tells you what to provide to the dealer and to be certain the gas is minimum 91 Octane.

Also included was a document for the service department tech to follow.

Is there a difference between the ford racing tune and the ford racing track cal tune? Assuming it's just the lumpy idle and fan temp changes?

Not an owner yet, but just following the various reviews as well as the literature at Ford Racing, it looks like ProCal is primarily for horsepower and torque. The TracKey originally (i.e. the Boss 302) added lopey idle, launch control, increased throttle response, engine braking, and the exclusive key without horsepower and torque gains. When they announced the GT TracKey, it was just like the 302 TracKey but also available as a regular tune that worked on GTs that couldn't use the key.

At the last minute, Ford Racing added the ProCal tune to the TracKey, and renamed the version without the key to Track Cal.

Sorry if you knew all the background and was just asking for confirmation. I couldn't tell from the way your question was worded.

The lopey idle is more severe on this than it was on my Boss302 and I LIKE IT
