Trackey for manual 2014 GT's manufactured after 7/1/2013
seems the lopey idle might be causing the issue w/ the cats. the exhaust has a different smell if it had sat at idle for a minute or two, like the cats are really working to scrub the exhaust fumes (almost like a new car you've just beat the hell out of). the solution for the time being has been to pull the battery to reset the computer.............or so I've read on this so far.
They are the same tune I believe.

FINALLY have it installed. new service dept was much nicer and even asked me to join the local MCA.
Still didn't go completely smooth. They somehow managed to program the regular key (the one w/ the galloping mustang) into the track key. the track key was a regular key. lucky for me it was an easy enough fix and i was out shortly after. the lopey idle feels a lot like my old man's 67 w/ a small cam.
THANK GOD ITS DONE!!

I am happy to report my traccal tune is working great.
If you do not like the lopey idle yes you have to turn it off after every start. Simple though just hold down the off button on the cruise control for five seconds after.
I have driven about 150 miles so far
Better gas mileage better low end torque and easier to shift.
Can't say much on full throttle pulls yet though.
If you have any questions call ford racing.
Great customer service ask for Mike on the Svt end great guy.
In case someone else is reading this don't confuse ford racings awesome customer service with fordracingpartsdirect subpar attempt at customer service especially if you talk to the manager there
Not sure how they stay I business.
Once again procal traccal awesome product for $399 including shipping from buyfordracing

Guy on mustang evo had his key installed on the 16th. He says his check engine light comes on every 3 days or so. So much for FRPP's solution, you have to do it 3 times a week.

Air conditioning runs same as always but here in northern NH it has not been very warm yet.

My Trackey arrived in the mail today.
Then I found out my Dealer's "Trackey Guy" is on vacation until July 7.
The other Ford dealers I called within 100 miles asked "What is a Trackey?"
Guess I'll have to wait until the Tackey Guy returns.

Better that then waste your time with a service department who doesn't know what they are doing
And the PCM isn't throwing codes for fun. Eventually the cats will die. And I hope to God that no ones motor goes with it.

Pretty rough trade off when the performance cal is the same minus lopey idle and launch control and has zero issues. I hope FRPP lets people swap for free if they want to.

If I have a CEL caused by lopey idle I'll deactivate lopey idle and worst-case, use the stock key until Ford Racing fixes it.
True. But most of us don't have that option. That said, it takes very little time to flash back to stock and vice versa via procal (after the first time that is).
When Shaun tuned my Boss two years ago he said all lopey idle tunes would eventually kill the cats, including the Trackey. At least if they die with the Trackey Ford will replace them. I had a Steeda cam idle tune briefly. It was so terrible they discontinued it. The sulfur stench at idle told you the cats were on borrowed time. There is no such smell with my Trackey.

I really really want that sound haha. I still wonder if HF cats would be okay (being that they barely do anything).
Got caught in construction traffic for nearly twenty five minutes this afternoon. Road was temporarily closed and no way around it. Air conditioning was on and 91 degrees out. The car sat idling without moving for twenty minutes. Still no CEL and plenty of air conditioning; considering the engine was idling. Still no strange exhaust smells. Shell 93 octane is all I use.
Interesting that I have not seen a posting of lopey idle or Track Key causing CEL's on the Boss 302 forum I frequent and nothing on the Mustang Source Boss forum either. Why are some of the GT owners having an issue already but not Boss owners with the Track Key for a couple of years now?
