Are new strut mounts required with the Eibach prosystem?
I ordered it and have it here and I keep hearing that the factory mounts may break and I don't know what to do since I have about 25k miles

No they are not required , but highly recommended, simply because the stock mounts are weak and are 1 time use parts. Either upgrade to gt-500 mounts or do what i did, upgraded to steeda heavy duty mounts. They allow camber adjustments!

They are recommended the stock mounts are one time use. Good luck trying to put them back on.
Looks like you are doing a mild drop so the gt500 mounts will work fine. I went with BMR springs and gt500 mounts allow enough adjustability for a proper alignment. Really no need to to drop $300+ on camber plates. Hope this helps

I have the Eibach Pro Plus kit and learned the hard way that the GT500 mounts DO NOT fit... Your only choice is either get new stock mounts or Steeda or Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates
I used Eibach F/R sway bars, Steeda Ultralite springs, and Steeda HD strut mounts to eliminate all unwanted noise. I retained my stock struts/shocks for now and will upgrade to Steeda 11-14 HD struts/shocks a bit later when the stock stuff gives up the ghost. So far zero problems, but I am ready for the better shocks/struts to fully complete my suspension.
