Steeda power pack
Steeda power pack
Took advantage of the Memorial Day sale and bought the ultimate induction pack with a 91 octane tune. Installation went pretty smooth, straight forward for the most part. The weather stripping was a little tricky to get just right. Other than that pretty simple. Initial impressions are that the car pulls much harder. The throttle is more responsive, exhaust is louder and you can definitely hear the cold air intake. Overall a very good mod. Car runs good and feels like how I would imagine driving a 400 hp car. To anyone on the fence about tuning their car, go for it. Car runs great and the difference between stock and tuned is worth the money.
Thank you for taking advantage of the sale & providing your feedback on the install & difference in the vehicle.
Your support is greatly appreciated.

but I would like SCT X4 Instead of SCT X3
Thanks

How does this combo work for the 13/14 GT? Does the filter get wet if you get caught in the rain? Has anybody done some rainy day testing?

On my '11 Brembo GT, dual adjustable LCA's (with the correct pinion angle) helped wheel hop, but did not completely eliminate it. I went with a Steeda UCA and the wheel hop was completely fixed. I even went back to the stock LCA's due to NVH issues with them (spherical steel bushings) and kept just the Steeda UCA and the wheel hop was still completely gone, so I didn't even need to do LCA's in that car.
My '14 GT is an automatic car and has absolutely zero wheel hop with 100% stock suspension. Same was true with my '07 GT automatic. The manual trans cars seem to be the only ones with wheel hop.
