A whistle might work better. People would think you have a really tiny blower and be scared to race you.

You might have to Plasti Dip that.

This is exactly what I thought of when I learned my car has a sound tube.

I will plug it when I get my exhaust. However, after I added my CDC shaker it is WAY louder. It really does sound good...for now.

To whom it may concern: I installed a sound tube delete kit last night on the Mustang and it did absolutely NOTHING to reduce cabin noise. Do not expect the car to be quieter after installing this. This is purely a cosmetic mod.

If you can hear cabin noise - your exhaust is not loud enough.

WHAT?!

My sound tube delete hole now has the wiring harness for a Procharger i-1 running through it.

If you can hear your exhaust over everything else, you're probably too young to hang with cool people like me.

I did hear a difference. There was this "thud thud" sound in beat with the rpm's. Now I do not hear that as I did before. I noticed right away. I hated the way it sounded.

My exhaust is GT500/res delete so it's not real loud. The sound tube had nothing to do with road noise, wind noise, etc, just that little annoying "thud thud" sound.

Now that you mention it, there is a certain whine I hear now...and a "psshhh" sound from time to time.
