SLP Loudmouth on 5.0?

I am most likely pulling the trigger and will try the SLP Loudmouth (M31023) for my Stang... as it is a muffler delete system, I'm sure it'll wake up the neighbors when I'm firing up... LOL

Anyone has any experience with the SLP's on their 2011 5.0?

Thanks for any thoughts and suggestions...

It'll be pretty loud. If you get SLP's keep your factory H pipe. I used my Pypes Pype Bombs with my catted x pipe and it was loud as hell. The cold start was brutal.

Heh...you got that right. I had Loudmouth on my 2009 (still have it in a box)...and it was really woderfully loud first thing in the morning. If the volume level is similar on the 5.0, you'll love it but I agree with the advice of leaving the rest of the exhaust stock.

Let us know how you make out.

Andy--

If you want to see how loud the Loudmouth will be, just take your mufflers off.... that'll give you an idea.

I carry SLP, Magnaflow, StainlessWorks, Corsa, and about 55 other (well, ok maybe not that many) exhaust companies. I know the website is sorely lacking information that I carry all those, but I do and if you want some help, feel free to call me. I can tell you I'm not upset that I stuck with mufflers on my car.

Sam... Thanks for the info... I'll be calling later today and hope you're in.

At this time I'm not planning of doing any other exhaust mods... at leat not right now, maybe later down the road. But for right now, I'm just looking for the proper exhaust sounds the 5.0 deserves. The engine sounds fantastic, but the exhaust is waaaaay too quite back there. It's a Mustang, not a Prius!
