Replacement Street Brake Pads/Rotors?

Any thoughts on new brake pads and rotors? I think the present BBP is a very good set-up for the street. No complaints, to be honest, but are there any other pad/rotor choices that will show a vast improvement? Pad-wise, I've been considering Hawk HPS(front and rear), Porterfield R4-S(front and rear), and Ferodo DS2500(front, only) so far.

Going with OEM pads for BBP are $200+ for the front set, alone! Does anyone know who the Original Equipment Manufacturer for the front pads are? Can anyone verify if they are Ferodo-sourced?

I already purchased the Hawk HPS front & rear pads, but I was looking for some input on their performance compared to the stock set. I started noticing a mixed bag of costumer reviews on their initial bite and optimal temp. range performance. That's when I began checking out other possible offerings.

Still trying to get confirmation about the BBP front pads... I thought it was mentioned that they were Ferodo DS2500's. If true, then it makes sense why the stock front pads seem to catalog-cost over $200!

Rotors... I went with the stockers. Fronts were $166/ea. Rears were $66/ea. Maybe in the near future I'll look at the TPS slotted rotors, or go all out and get DBA 5000 fronts & 4000 rears.

They do, but it doesn't look like they have rotors for our particular fitment.

I switched out my Brembo Pads for CarboTech Pads. These CarboTech Pads have extreme stopping power and no dust to boot.

What is the specific CarboTech compound you are commenting about?
