Talking Raw Power!

After driving my '11 Stang for over two weeks now with the new mods, I have to say, it became even more evil than before! I don't know if it is the new (larger) Steeda CAI intake, the upgraded Steeda Tune, the addition of the FRPP Boss Quad exhaust or a combination thereof... All I can say it is mighty wicked!

The throttle response seems to be even more precise than before, and the kick at WOT is even more noticable than before. Easy to get the rear end out of shape, before the ESC and traction control kicks in...

It seems like the torque and power increase is especially noticable in second and third gear, and it added the extra kick in fourth as well...

I didn't had a chance of getting it on the dyno again to see the difference, but I'm really looking forward to... I'm really interested to see the results compared to the last run!

I would like to thank Gus at Steeda in Pompano Beach once again, for making the upgrade recommendation to the CAI and MAF!!! Outstanding as always!

Thanks for the feedback and glad to see your really enjoying the product.

The Steeda CAI/Tune is a great addition to any Mustang especially if you want to add Raw Porwer ... I mean Raw Power.

If anyone wants to take your car to the next level like Andy did then don't hesitate to ask.

Best Regards,

TJ

I,ve heard a lot of negatives about intake and tune combo,s on the forums, lack of noticable power ,etc., etc. But i saw a sweet 12gt in my town and pulled in behind him in a parking lot while riding my Fat Boy the other day.it was GB with lots of good stuff, but getting to the point ,he had a Steeda cai with there 93 tune and was EXTREMELY happy with it,butt dyno and all around usable power through the rpm range. He said the car was completely transformed and driven cool got 2mpg over stock. After checking numerous threads it seems most people are happiest with this combo.

Best combo out there. Installed mine cai& (93 tune) at 1,000 miles now have 15,500 without a hiccup.

Ponywars,

It looks as if the people have spoken ...

One thing to consider when you purchase from Steeda is the fact that we engineer, manufacture, and test all of our own products. We have our hand in every aspect of the development process ... which means we can control the quality of the product.

This is great for you ... the end user, because you are going to get a high quality product that will perform at a high level.

We make all of the Steeda products right here in the U.S.A. with Made in the U.S.A. raw materials.

You won't be disappointed with Steeda and the quality we will provide.

Please let me know if I can assist you with your purchase or if I can answer any additional questions that you may have?

Best Regards,

TJ

I see a lot of folks with the steeda cai and 93 tune. Where I live, not very many places where you can get 93. So my question is, are there many users out there running the steeda cai with 91 tune? How is it? Issues? I'm sure it's not as common, but...

Thanks

I also have the steeda 87 tune on my scanner and honestly can't tell any difference between it and the 93. After talking to Gus there is a minimal HP loss to prevent detonation but the difference is minimal. If I were you, I would run the steeda 87 tune (or 89 if they have one) and use 91 gasoline for added safety. It would be safer than stock guaranteed.

We can definitely write you a tune for 91. We offer tunes in 87, 89, 91 or 93 octane. I actually have customers get a 91 tune quite often and don't ever hear any complaints.

Thankfully, the only precipitation Marilyn sees is whenever I wash her

No, we haven't seen water intrusion in our own testing on our 2013s in normal driving (rainstorms, parked, stoplights, etc.).
