I love the looks of it. It really makes the car look like it belongs in a higher class, like the GT500 lol.
So would you say doing the upgraded GT500 exhaust would be worth the extra $300-500. I'm not exactly sure how much they cost.

 

for the looks pretty sure it is worth the money....if you are looking for tearing up the street with your exhaust you should look elsewhere... this is more a gentle way more a lion roar deep throat... if u wanna hear it.. i will be at car meet at 7pm - 8.30pm James Coney Island 7103 F-M 1960 Road West, Humble, TX.

Well it is ordered!
a 2014 Premium GT with the Track Package and Leather Recaros.
I'm pretty excited... now I just have to wait.
CiniZter, I used Tommie Vaughn Ford. So, hopefully they'll help me out when it comes in.
As long as they don't charge a fortune, hopefully it'll come home with the GT500 quad exhaust, stripes, and tint.
Can they take the resonators off there?

 

Do all your negotiations before u take delivery.... Before deal they will do anything to win ur business.i had my resonator del done with a local muffler shop. Worth asking them.

 

Yeah, I'm hoping it'll be an exciting delivery after an accomplished negotiation. lol This wait is already killing me though.

 

I found a loaded 13 track pack on the lot. It had all I wanted plus what I didn't want - the dreaded colour black - after 3 hours work it looks great for 15 minutes.

Get the track pack - some nice addons all ready built into the car for minimal $.

I had the dealer throw in vinyl stripes of my choice at the end of the deal. Went with the quasi 69 boss look. Every body has the shelby stripes.

 

Small world, I ordered my convertible from there a couple of weeks ago. Still haven't gotten a build date, though.....

 

So, yesterday morning, after not hearing any word about what's been going on since saturday (ordered? Not ordered? Sign something? Don't sign something?) when I placed the order, and after some more debating in my head, I halted them placing the order. So, currently, it's not ordered.

They also told me I can't finance the GT500 exhaust, diffuser, and Spoiler into the purchase...

I think right now I'm too undecided on the next car to go and jump into this one.

With options like the new '15 Mustang coming out, or buying a used GT500, Boss, Saleen, Roush... Or jumping to the truck world with a used Raptor... I think I'll hold off a bit longer till I'm set in stone on what I want.

Plus, if I get a new mustang, it puts off getting my wife a new BRZ or Mini Coupe S for a little longer. And I'm looking forward to her having something cool too.

So yeah, oddly enough, to cap this thread, "options when ordering new", I couldn't even finance parts after the dealer installs them, before pick-up, with the whole car.

But thanks to everyone for their help! I'll wait a little longer and decide where exactly I want to go next.
