Opinions on these 2 X-pipes....

Bassani is the deepest sounding exhaust I've heard for these cars. U can feel the bass. Just wasnt loud enough. The SW axle back isn't even mufflers, its basically pipes with resonators in them. For the cost, not worth it to me. Their headers on the other hand are 2nd to none and where most of that sound comes from.

The Bassani x pipe looks very similar in design to the magnaflow x pipe I had put on my truck. Problem is, almost immediately it began to crack apart along the weld seam.
You could tell it was some very cheap stamped out pieces welded together and looking at the Bassani it looks the same, the welds along the u shape between the two pipes are very very small.
On the other hand, the Borla has two reinforcing plates welded on both ends to give it much more strength.
Oh, and the Bassani looks more like a h/x kinda mix.
I would invest in the Borla for sure.

I installed the Bassani X-pipe along with Flowmaster Hushpower on my 2012 5.0 auto. The sound is superb and doesn't drone on the highway. It is a very mellow sound and does NOT sound "ricey." I feel a slight improvement in low end torque and the mileage improved from 17/23 to 19.5 city and 24.5 highway...and I drive pretty spiritedly, too.
