Which oil seperator!
Which oil seperator!
I'm having a hard time deciding between he Moroso, JLT,and Bobs oil separators. Any advise would be great, I want to know which works best, I don't care about ease of install, I only care about performance.
Thanks for the help in advance TMS!

The JLT ones have been known to leak thus causing a vacuum leak. Many of us are using breathers. Zero chance of any oil getting into the intake.

I'm always messing with things, but this is what I did...

The intake side (on top of that pipe) is always bone dry now and the can gets a 1/4 filled with oil every 3k miles.
Note how hard it would be for oil to jump into the hole next to it with the big metal piece in the way...
It has to now go all the way down to the bottom of the can and climb its way back up and through a filter + defying gravity which is not happening. so at the top of that tube is pretty much "oil-less" air.

Here's a couple of examples in this thread. And there are more.

JPC ones. No change in tune needed.
Many instances on SVT. Just do a search. On the 2011+ cars they're causing vacuum leaks.

I'm leaning more towards the Bobs oil separator now.
I watched a test video on YouTube that was really informative.
Plus it seems like no one has anything bad to say about it, unlike every other oil separator has at least a couple negative points!

I have the Bob's on my 14 GT. I originally had a UPR can but I discovered I was still getting oil at the intake port so I did some research and everyone raved about the Bob's so I got one. I have not driven the car much since the install so I can't tell you about the performance of it yet. I like that it's solid mounted and has a drain valve on the bottom so you don't have to unscrew the can to empty it.
