to new to tune and break in
Am seriously cosidering Ford Racing Tune. Have 50 miles on car. Opinions on waiting or doing it now. Secondly, thoughts on break in. Take it easy or run it hard? Thoughts and opinions welcome.

Drive it like you stole it. That's how I broke my '12 in and it runs like a champ. I added steeda cai and tune around 1500 miles. Would have done it sooner if I had the cash.

Ran my 07 GT like I was Mad Max when I dropped the time in. The inboard computer helps the car learn and make adjustments accordingly. I would be careful about warranty work through Ford though, it voids all kinds of stuff once they find out you threw a tune on the car if you go aftermarket whatsoever..

Another vote for driving it like you stole it. Just drive however you would normally drive it...Unless you'd normally cruise at the same rpm for hours at a time. Tuning it before or after break in isn't gonna make a difference.

Just remember that if you go with the FRPP Tuner then Ford will have your VIN on file showing that you bought the tuner. This could give you some headache should a warranty issue pop up in the future.
