On a side note....I have purchased a ton of stuff from MMR for my 98 Cobra. And they were always willing and able to help me with any questions i had for my application. Recommend other parts even if it wasn't one they produced. They do make good products, I love the IMRC deletes they make for my car.
But every company slips up, but the good ones stand by their customers and get the problem corrected for the best of their customer. Could their instructions have been better? Sounds like it. Thats the only problem with new released cars. all the 05 parts did not work correctly in 05 either. And JJ did the right thing by posting his results for US as consumers. And MMR is stepping up to correct the situation so that their product will perform like it should. Its refreshing to see companys that do the right thing for their customers, and everyone in general.
just My $.02

Isn't it that resetting the ECU will clear the long term fuel trims that were calculated based on the stock airbox flow? Thus moving forward with the CAI it will develop long term fuel trims based on the CAI flow? If that's the case it's completely understandable why resetting the ECM would be suggested and those claiming to be so incredibly knowledgeable to know better than to reset the ECM are making asses of themselves.
That said, I'm excited that this JJ guy is doing what he does. This will be my first streetable Mustang and I'd rather go straight for the good stuff rather than cross my fingers and hope things work.
