They are built to order from what I was told when I got mine. Had a minor problem with mine when it came in and was resolved quickly. Their customer service was great.

MGW FTW!!!!!!

Sorry just getting used to saying that. After going back and forth over the Steeda, Barton, AM, and MGW the last few weeks I have made my decision. MGW....like there really was any competition. After examining the 6 youtube videos 2 times today by MGW/SVTperformance, there really is no doubt in my mind that the MGW is the superior product.

Julie told me about 3 weeks from today.....so the wait begins.

Mike and Mike/Jake......I'll provide beer and bbq if you guys can assist on the install since you've both done yours successfully.

This actually made me think... WHO in their right mind bought an MGW, only to turn around sell it before even installing it? You sure it's new? hmmm maybe they needed the cash?

HAHAHAHA... John, you caved in to peer pressure man. (DO IT... DO IT... DOOOO ITTTTTT).

Yeah better get used to saying MGW FTW out loud, 3x at night, in front of a mirror.

But seriously tho, I would have loved to help if you were closer. Come move to Iowa. I've seen people install them by themselves, but I think with one other person, install is peachy. Jackstands are sufficient.

that would be me and I assure you I am in my right mind ( although my wife would debate that point) and Yes its Brand spankin new and no I'm not in need of cash. I ordered this and waited and waited like all of you have to get yours, in the meantime I found a sweet deal on a barton , bracket and shift **** that was also brand spankin new so I threw it in there. I love the bartons short patterns and I promise you it can be shifted as fast as any other shifter on the market. I have driven a MGW equipped car and honestly whatever subtle difference in feel there was is not enough motivation for me to go to the hassle of taking the barton out to put the MGW I sold to 2012GTCS in....and the MGW I drove was quite a bit louder from the NVH's for my taste but the guy thinks he didnt do something right so that might or might not be a real issue....regardless, I got a deal on my barton so I figured I could throw a deal out to someone else and...........most likely going to order a boss anyway so sitting in the box made no sense to me....2012GTCS enjoy the shifter and the deal

Ah that makes sense. Yeah if you got a killer deal, why not. So you like the Barton too? I heard good things about it too.

And yes, I agree with you on the NVH when it comes to shifting, but I actually like it...

How bad is the NVH? I thought that's why there's dynomat included.

oh not bad at all John. Like I stated before, it's noticeably louder when you SHIFT INTO GEARS. It's a satisfying ka-chunk into gear. And I love that. Helps reassure me I'm driving a beast. I did not notice any increased NVH from pure driving though (i.e. sounds from engine, etc). Maybe some other MGW owners can chime in.

Yeah, luckily I spotted the shifter that Hireman had for sale right away on SVTP. Things go quick sometimes. So I jumped on an great deal and no wait!
