I've got about 1400 miles on the shifter now. It's getting better and better now. Still very mechanical and can feel everything. But I love how it's not overly "short" (throws) like other kits out there. It's just a manly shifter with manly satisfying throws. I love rowing it.

Any issues with second gear lock out. I thought it was slip shift but when I look at the dash I don't see it saying 1-4 shift. It only happens below 2500 rpm. So I'm thinking it is skip shift

Try disconnecting the solenoid and see if it goes away.

Skip shift is right side or on top? I've hear both. I hesitated pulling the plug while I was under there thinking it wasn't the right one.

Once my car is warm I get no resistance into 2nd. If it is cold there's some slight resistance.

Just unplugged mine. It's on the right side towards the top. I was getting locked out b/w 2k and 3k rpm. No lockout now.

Does installing a new shifter affect activating the rear view camera at all?
