and I am almost a quart low on oil. Is this even possible? the oil sell looks new and i have had zero problems with the car. Car has 4356 miles on it.

Did you check it right after the fill to see where it read? that seems excessive.

if you had it done somewhere they probably didn't put enough in there. Did you change it yourself or did you have it done?

it's possible.... unfortunately.

My 2012 Boss 302 was using close to a quart every 1000 miles. I no longer have it.

As others have already asked.... who changed the oil and was it checked immediately after the change to ensure they filled it? If all this was done already and correctly then have the dealer start an oil consumption test....

This is a no-brainer. The dealer didn't put enough oil in it. 8-1/2 quarts to fill, most techs assume it to be the same as usual.

same thing happened to me... techs get used to the older models and it slips by unless somebody is on the ball .. too bad it has to be the car owner. but **it happens
