This week I've learned that the 2015's will get launch control and line lock. Does anyone know if there's a way for a 2014 to be programmed with these features? After driving a 2013 GT500 in the American Muscle Car Challenge (Vegas) I'd love to have launch control. Line lock would just be fun as well.

 

Yes on both accounts. AM website has a like lock i remember seeing.

And I remember reading that you can get Launch Control with the purchase of a Track Key for your 13 and 14 GT.

 

Yea the track keys have launch control and if you have an early '14 or '13 i think theyre going to make it available later this year on the procal from ford

 

Cool. Thanks for the information. Still like to see the line lock built in to the track apps like it will be with the 2015. Plus the launch control. Didn't want to add one of the kits. Not in a hurry though but it's nice to see their are options.

 

I'd rather have an aftermarket line lock, having to go through options on the cluster is a pita

Track Key? My 2014 has the Track Pack is that just an added option? I was hoping it was just a quick software upgrade and I would love to have that option. I had an aftermarket line lock installed in my '03 GT automatic and it was great.

 

I have a new 2014 GT. How do I go about getting launch control? And how does it work. By the way HURST makes a nice line-loc kit for the new Mustangs. I put one on. Not difficult and works very well. The kit works around the advance track so there are no issues with that.
