Edelbrock supercharger - 559 horsepower, $6,495.87

Edelbrock officially announced details for their 2011+ Mustang supercharger system:

What do you guys think? How do you rank this compared to Whipple/Kenne Bell/Roush/ProCharger/Vortech?

When comparing, please keep in mind that this kit is 559 hp at the flywheel. RWHP will be about 485 to 495 for a manual trans car, from what I can gather.

My personal preference would be a Vortech or Procharger - I like centrifugals better than twin screws - but they are all great kits so you can't go wrong with any of them.

But Edelbrock's supercharger is a roots!

Looks like a variation of a twin screw in the cutaway.

the roush, whipple, ford racing, and i think the Magnuson’s all use the same Twin Vortices tech.
