Black is Neautiful, but a royal PAIN

I do agree.. Looks Sharp as Hell, But.. Being 53, with Bad arthritis in my Knees and Lower spine.. I just dont have it in me to Give it the attention to detail anymore. so there are lapse periods.. where my car Looks like Dirty AZZ.. But.. when its clean.. It's a thing of beauty.

Gotcha... I wish I could turn the clock back to 53 though... I'm a disabled vet myself and I have a monthly subscription to a car dealing service. They do the work for me...

Correct. Borla S-Types have zero drone. None. And they sound great. Corsas and Borlas would be the two I'd look at. You get what you pay for with exhaust so stay away from Flowmaster and other cheap brands.

. They are the best. As soon as I use the track key they get real Loud and very Barkey. Lol

So what are the differences between the Borla S-Types over the Ford Racing "S" types aka Stingers ? From my understanding the Ford racing version (Stingers) are made for Ford Racing by Borla..

Perhaps the Borla S-Type themselves do not drone, however the Ford racing (Stinger) versions on the other hand, have been known for droning !

I have had the roush axle backs since 400 miles and believe they were the best purchase I have made for my car. I don't feel there is any drone. Last car was a 2007 charger with SLP loudmouths and it would hurt your head with the drone. The gt500's are the second best choice in my book. The roush mufflers scream when your getting on it but are quiet enough when cruising around. Sidebar note they are a hair raspy when the car is wide open or terribly raspy if you do other exhaust upgrades. I bought them because I don't plan on doing headers or mid pipe.

You can do what I did, put on some Flowmaster Outlaw a/b drive around for 60 min or so. After you pick up your fillings that came loose at 1800-2000 revs then replace them with Anything else. Drone will be zero by comparison.

I just bought my 2011 GT and it had GT500 axle backs on it and sounded very good. I wanted something louder so I switched to S-types.

Here is a video of my GT500 axle backs. For sale if anyone is interested...very good shape. Have pics if anyone is interested.

Perhaps you should have tried removing the resonators with the GT500s. Really enhances the volume. Your Borlas will definitely be louder, though.
