My apologies - I had not seen this last post. Been gone a good chunk of the summer and I did not check the forums.
Did you figure out what pin type you needed? Did you get it working?

Great write-up, Thanks!
One thing I am curious about, is there anywhere to get power in the wheel without going through the clockspring connector? I'm just thinking it would be easier if there's a spot to tap into.
I have all my parts, can't wait to install everything!

Thanks Jim010! I could possibly make more spacers, unfortunately I don't really have the right tools to do it. I used a scroll saw to cut out the hole which worked but not very well. Went through a blade on each spacer. A different type blade might work better, not sure really. Ideally I would like the outside to match the shape of the shifter bezel but these will do for now.

I've always wanted paddles in mine, and now that my select shift buttons are starting to fail/annoy me more than normal, I'm planning to do this. Thanks for all the info! I understand most of it, though I'm having a hard time visualizing some of the later steps without putting eyes on it myself.
I'm sure I'll be back with plenty of questions during the install XD

The SelectShift button in my 2014 started acting up for the second time. The first time the dealer replaced the button under warranty, but my warranty has expired. In both cases the downshift worked fine but it became increasingly difficult to get it to upshift. I followed the instructions and used an eraser on mine (both the green contact plate and the round bits that contact it) and it is back to shifting flawlessly. I used small jeweler's screwdrivers and it was tedious, but I got it done.

**** you JIM...
I THOUGHT I was done with this cluster / select-a-shift upgrade... Then you mumble about this... Originally I just discounted it because it was wireless and figured battery and stuff in the paddles... but now reading it... I guess I need to figure out how much the transmitter / receiver module is and go from there...

UGH - you are spending my money left and right! (thank you)

Track Apps is not needed. Just follow the instructions here. If you have the select shift, you can add paddles.
If you don't have select shift, then there is much more involved.
