EDIT: E85 along with ID1000s and new pumps to handle the extra fuel.
Stock hp is 650 so that would be a 50hp increase not 150 though. Still little confused were your getting the 150hp increase over stock.

Sorry, just wasn't being clear. Stock is 662 at the engine, I dyno'd at 593 at the wheels. After my mods; JLT cold air intake, Super Cobra Jet throttle body, Lethal off road x-pipe, 3.73 gears, and 93 octane Lund tune I dyno'd at 702 at the wheels. With updated fuel injectors and an E85 tune Lund said I would break 850hp at the wheels, or 150hp over what I have now with my 93 tune from him. I was also quoted the same number from HPP racing. Also the number wouldn't be as high without the mode I already have.

Don't see 150 to the wheels just from altering the tune to run E85. You would have to increase the boost over stock to get that with an x-pipe, tb and CAI

I see truth with both of your posts. Adding better gas that makes a better bang is only good if your pushing enough air into the engine. Not sure if the Shelby comes supercharged stock but I would assume they would add a little more boost plus better fuel equals more power, and since you have the off road pipe that's better flow of air out. Now please don't fight you two. If you do well see another 5 pages to this already off topic thread.

I know all about E85. I can use that as well as 87 in my Fusion. It's called FLEX FUEL.

The Shelby come with a TVS 2.3 Supercharger pushing 15psi stock.

I wouldn't fight with him! I would have trouble believing it myself, and I only have what Lund said. E85 has been proven to be the best fuel out there though. In the next issue of 5.0 magazine they will be covering Lethals 2013 Shelby build and it has Lunds E85 tune on it, anxiously awaiting for it to arrive.

And it's the best fuel out there. I think you are just trolling me at this point, so make a thread about E85 if you want to continue and lets stop killing this poor thread.

Maybe 10-20hp with just a tune without raising boost? That sounds reasonable.

Lol well all that was an interesting read... Haven't bought new gears yet. Gonna do more research on the 3.31s with a circle D. They aren't too far from my house so I may go check then out next week. My car is a DD but very very spirited driving on my part lol

You're going to have to get a tune after the install.

Just my two cents here: E85 is not a good fuel for daily use as it traps a lot of water which can lead to additional fuel system corrosion long term. However, E85 does slow burn rates, much like higher octane "race fuels" so while the E85 itself doesn't "make more power," it does allow for much more aggressive tuning. And when you can dial in a lot more timing into a tune on a supercharged beast like a 662hp GT500, there are considerable power gains to be had.
