I just bought long tube headers, catted x pipe, steeda CAI and steeda custom tune. I will let you know ere in two weeks if I was able to hook up.
On another note, would the gt500 tires fit my stock 19s?

Nice, I'm sure you will be very happy with those mods! I wouldn't get GT500 tires unless you can get them for cheap, there is much better tires out there. I gave away my GT500's tires for free and they had less than 1k miles on them.

What do you recommend? Drag radials?

Not at all, really depends on what you want them for. Michelin PSS's are a great all around tire, and they come in a wide variety of 19s. PSSs are rated for 30k miles and are top choice for GT500 owners because they have them in 20s. Nitto also has 19s. NT555s are a good all around tire, I've used them in very heavy rain and snow with no issues, they last a long time as well. Nitto NT05s (not Rs) are a borderline drag radial, and look mean when mounted, but ain't quite as good in bad weather. Toyo makes a couple R888s in 19s, but I would go with the PSSs or any Nittos before the Toyos just because of the lack of sizes.
Any of these are way better than the Goodyear Super Cars, the GYs are so bad they are dangerous! They would spin even if I gave my car zero gas when letting out on the clutch, until they was warmed up at least.

Keep the 3.15's. I copied and pasted this post from another board but it's a great explanation on why Ford went with those gears. Don't get hung up on the number 3.15.
I look at it this way, the overall gear ratio is what is important. I even ran 4.30 gears for a long time and got into the 10s with them, but it was a total ***** to get the car hooked. Switched to 3.31 and lost nothing, but sure made the car easier to hook.
Consider these first gear ratios:
C4 - 2.46
4R70W - 2.84
6R80 - 4.17
Take the 4.17 and multiply it by the 3.31, you get 13.8 for an overall gear ratio in 1st. Now take that 13.8 and divide it by the first gear ratios of the other transmissions and this tells you what axle ratio would give you the equivalent with those transmissions:
C4 - 5.61
4R70W - 4.86
So, although 3.31 "sounds like" not much gear, you can see that in the end, it is quite a bit of gear with the 6R80.
We can do the same with the second gear ratios:
6R80 - 2.34
C4 - 1.46
4R70W - 1.55
That puts the 6R80/3.31 at 7.75, which is like a 4R70W with a 5.00 axle, or a C4 with a 5.31 axle.
And finally 3rd gear, where the 6R80 is 1.52*3.31=5.03, the others are 1 to 1, so 5.03 would be the equivalent axle there.
You'd all agree that an axle in the 5.00 range is a lot of gear, well, we're doing exactly the same thing with the 3.31/6R80, we just have 3 more gears to go after that.
Going the other way, a 4.10/6R80 in first gear is like having a C4 with a 6.95 gear, or a 4R70W with a 6.02 gear. You can see why hooking it is a problem.

When I bought my 11' auto the dealer sold me a pkg - 3:73s & Procal . This was good but not enough... so I sent my ride to Roush to be overhauled. Now I have 3:73s and a supercharged ride making 495-505 rwhp. Big problem hooking the up the Roush 20's. Swapped to 3:31s and made a huge difference.
My point being... think out what mods you're gonna do ( took me 2 1/2 years)and gear accordingly.

In laymans terms what gears worked on past Mustangs don't work on these. The transmissions that are in the new Mustangs are geared aggressively already so one can over gear a car. That is why guys need to understand what they have and have a good plan in place rather than just throw parts at it.

2012 mustang gt auto 4.10s, stock air box, 295/45 17 mt and o\r x. Tuned by aed. Ford lowering springs, BBR lca and relo brackets also removed the front sway bar.
Ran an 11.4, not bad for gears, tune and few mods!

All of that info is in the thread. Plus the guy in the link you gave did the same thing, and has a ton more mods and race fuel. I say good job to both and am happy they are enjoying their cars, why can't you?

Absolutely.
Wrong. WBT in the thread I posted is on 93 pump gas. And he doesn't have a ton more mods, just different ones. Apparently the right ones as he's gone much much faster.

I think he was thinking of 83,87,93 gas lol. As for adding 150hp I don't think gas type could do that you'll have to explain how your getting a 150hp bump.

EDIT: E85 along with ID1000s and new pumps to handle the extra fuel.
