I too just got a new 2014. So far Ive installed an aluminum driveshaft and a catback Flowmaster exhaust. At this point I'm staying away from a tune as I don't want to mess with the warranty. Good luck with your car.

Thanks. One of my dealer guys has done the flowmaster headers and cat back, cai and bama tuner to the extent of a 503 rear wheel HP, all thru AM and has been very happy in all respects. I am told a ford racing supercharger will void the warrenty. Anyone have experience here? Thanks

ummmm... the aforementioned list of mods you state above, also voids warranty. Once you touch tune, it's over.

Welcome and congratulations! That's a good question and we carry a slew of parts to turn your car into a monster! My best recommendation for a new owner is to get used to the car. I'm not sure what you're coming out of and it's a lot of car to get acclimated to. In regards to the best mods a Cold Air Intake and Custom Tuner would be my first and that's what I typically have installed on all my cars right off the bat.

As FromZto5 had said these mods can void your warranty but this really depends on the dealer. Some dealers sell Ford Racing Parts, but once they're installed they can void the warranty which is pretty wonky if you ask me! My best recommendation would be to to check with a service writer or a manager to see if they can shed some light on this for you.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance I'm always here to help!

Hey Panman,

The Ford Racing 2011-2014 Mustang GT 525HP Supercharger Kit M-6066-MGT525D (or M-6066-MGT525PD for polished finish) includes a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty if installed by a Ford or Lincoln dealer.

Or go with a 624hp kit directly from Whipple Superchargers. $775 for a 5yr 100,000 mile powertrain warranty that covers up to $8,000. They make them for ford so may as well buy it direct from them with the warranty. Ford will only warranty the 525hp kit. Not worth it to me for the money.

Do you mean 403rwhp? No way it's putting down 503rwhp with "bolt-ons" and a tune.

You could look at the Roush supercharger. From my understanding, if you have Roush install it, you will retain your Ford warranty. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Has to be 403hp. No way 503 from just bolt ons. Roush will only warranty their phase 1 575hp kit. Warranty is for 3yrs 36000 miles from date you purchased car. Not from when system is installed. Whipple offers the best warranty with the highest HP package. 5yrs 100,000 miles from date car was purchased for 624hp kit. Later on when not worried about warranty you can get a tuner kit for it and add even more HP. The 624hp kit should be about 550hp or so to the wheels.
