I'm dying for those dyno numbers. I've been wanting to see what it'll do on a Mustang dyno.

You'll want to use film for things like your wedding, child portraits, etc. Digital cameras, including the best SLRs, still haven't hit films quality and pristine detials.

I don't want my first post on here to be a bunch of flaming, but the information that is getting tossed around lately on the 2011 is similar to throwing a steak to a bunch of rabid dogs...

First the hold thread, and now this? What next??

BTW, most of the info on here is helpfull. You just have to sort thru all the conspiracy theories and misinformation.

But then again, you could apply that statement to the entire Internet.

TMS has a lot more conspiracy theorists than the other forums I visit.

IMO there's also a lot more of informative posts about future Mustangs. The only other forum that provides a good amount of 2011 Mustang info is s197forum.com, although it doesn't even come close to TMS in that sector.

I'm more active on the Mazda boards and a moderator on one of them. I haven't been on other S197 websites quite yet.

TMS just recently got like this overboost. With all these new '11 owners coming in some of them are just super paranoid, its wierd. I wish you had a chance to see how it was before. I'm sure things will come down and return to the status quo eventually...

I was on here back when the '05's first came out under a different name, forgot what it was and didn't bother looking it up. Came back this time and it's not much different than I remember it. I've seen it over a course of a while. Just recently got really involved since I'll be picking up one here in the near future.

well you're right about that. when the '05s debuted it was hectic then too. but it died down and then turned back into quality posting.

Just look at the '05-'09 section now. There are lots of quality threads about DIY stuff, tunes, mods, etc. Once all of the mass hysteria of "I got my VIN!" and "oh noesss! a hold!" die down it will be an excellent source of info without the extra layer of fat

There's more to TMS than that? Hmmm.

I don't doubt it. I'm a moderator for a platform that is dead and has no intentions of being created for a 2nd gen (Speed6) and so the group over there is much smaller. The worst thing we deal with is the continued BS from Mazda NA about the smoking turbos because of crappy tolerances on the K04 turbo we have, and the "mystical PCV fix" that's been in the works for over a year now. Aside from that, it's pretty mild mannered. The Speed3 crowd, on the other hand, is a total mess. Much more immaturity and shenanigans take place in that section.

Anyways, enough about off-topic chat. I'm interested to hear what Evo has planned in the next few days and see what it does to the car.
