+1

It is quite common just to get one wheel off the ground.

Not really trying to stir the pot per say. Just wish things didn't come across so secretive. I would have taken you up on the offer but my grandfathers viewing was today. Family first!

Still waiting for a reply to that PM I sent you...

To the others out there here is my beef with Evo. When the 2010 GT500 came out they advertised great numbers for their car. 510RWHP with just a 93 octane tune. Well it's been almost a year now and nobody has come close to those numbers on a stock GT500 with just a tune. Including those of us who bought the tune from them. While I'm excited for them and the work they are doing on the 2011 GT. I still have concerns that many will buy based on lofty claims and be disappointed down the road.

I'm guessing that since their work is going to be published in the 5.0 mag, that perhaps they are getting some funding from them, and as such, they or the mag would like to get first crack at publishing the results.

Which is fine. Then state that's the deal and I think everyone would understand.

For instance how the heck are they tunning the car? SCT is denying they are working with Evo.

5.0 Mustang and Super Fords are doing one of many articles on this car, so full details can't be published! We're NOT getting any funding from them, we're bank rolling the whole thing!

The car is being Tuned but how can't be discussed at this time!

We will have Videos up later tonight or Saturday I promise!

Well done Fred, that's an amazing time.

And this is still just with DRs, exhaust, and tune? Nice!

I am still confused though, 5.0's are supposed to be maxed out from the factory lol I never get tired of saying that.

Well, it has their "Suspension Package" too, U/L Control Arms and upper shock mounts, I believe...

Adding DRs, suspension parts, a clutch, etc, isn't doing anything to engine performance.

Exactly. Running a tune and a drop in filter nets 11's on a street car sign me up. What I would like to see is the GT350 go to work. That should show what a add-on can do.

Exactly. Evo's car is setup for the DRAG STRIP. You won't run that config on a street car unless you want your handling to go to ****.

I'd like to see #'s for street setup.

Well besides the wheels and tires nothing they have done will affect handling.
