I have had three sets:

GT500s. I had these with an otherwise stock exhaust, no resonators and stock H and no resonators and 3 inch X-pipe with factory cats. No drone with any of these setups. It was loudest and most "choppy" and aggressive with the factory H and no resonators. Great sound. I thought it was still too quiet with the resonators.

MAC axleback with X pipe and no resonators. Deep...I mean D E E P and nice tone. Incredible drone, like Scanners your head will explode drone. The worst drone I have ever experienced. Also, a chop at cruise that was like riding in a Huey with the door open. Seriously bummed me out, so I removed them immediately and returned them.

Roush. These went on Tuesday. X pipe and no resonators. Remind me of the GT500s but about 3x as loud. Actually a hair too loud without resonators, but they sound like God's own exhaust was delivered to me. With the X and no resonators they have a wonderful exotic wail and timbre. I love them, and so does everyone else within a 5 square mile radius of my house. LOL. No drone, but you can faintly hear them under cruise at 80+ mph. I have a 3.31 car.

After listening to countless videos of all kinds of exhaust, including the Roush, I was completely floored at how they actually sounded on my car. Up until this point I was rather iffy on the Coyote's exhaust note. I am no longer. Whoever designed the Roush axle back deserves a serious amount of praise. They are simply filled to the brim with bad assedness.

I agree. After countless vids one day I said f it and ordered them. No video does them or any axel back any justice. I've been on the fence about an x pipe for months now. It makes me sad that mine are starting to go bad.

I am sure you will get another set and all will be good in the world of Roush.

I would recommend the X. Although I have not heard the H with Roush in person, I cannot imagine it sounding better. With GT500s, I preffered the H. With these, the X really shines.

I have the Pypes. It is an all stainless, 3 inch X that installs after the cats. Unfortunately, it is all 3 inch. This means it has to either be clamped and mated to 3 inch exhaust, or welded to the factory 2.75 inch. I had it welded, which bummed me out. Great piece though, especially for $125. If I had not been in such a rush to get it in, I would have thought it out and bought some 3 inch clamps. Then I could have had my exhaust guy weld a short section of 3 inch to the existing pipes, and clamp it to the X. However, I was impatient and wanted it in, IMMEDIATELY. So, I just said f*ck it, and had it welded.

We should get together and compare. Mine sounds very similar to this, but not quite a loud or as high pitched. I have factory headers, factory cats, 3 inch X-Pipe, no resonators and the Roush. Again, YouTube videos shot with cell phones don't do any of these exhausts any justice. Even the ones I have shot with my Flip, which have much better sound, can't really capture the tone of the exhaust.

That's where I got my Roush's. If they take care of my current issue I might just have to order one from them.
