Is Yatesperformance.com a Scam Website?

Has anyone ever ordered anything from Yatesperformance.com? Their prices are SO good that it makes me wonder if it is a scam site. The site has that "fuzzy" look and their is no phone number to be found anywhere. Additionally, I called Roush Performance in Livonia, MI, and they said the only Yates "official" website they distribute to is roushyatesengines.com or something like that.

I'm ready to pull the trigger on the blower and Stage 3 Suspension package on Yatesperformance.com, but it won't be much of a deal if it's a scam. Any additional information would be helpful.

Lloyd Mats lists it as an approved vendor so I would guess it is ok. But if you feel uncomfortable about it then don'y buy.

I e-mailed them with some questions about the Roush kits and they e-mailed me back the next day.

Never payed any attention to whether there was a phone number or not.

Just looked at the website again and there is an explanation about the lack of a phone number. Looks like they are probably too small to have someone on the phone all the time. Probably just a part time sideline gig for the owner, probably drop-ship most of their parts direct from suppliers.

And I wouldn't read too much into Roush not acknowledging them, probably too small.

They take paypal and credit cards so you have some buyer protection.

Heck, e-mail them and ask them about their business, ask for references or some contacts with satisfied customers.

There's not much on the net about them.

I'm the other guy from teh forums DMhines is talkgin about. i ahd no issues at all with Yates, the credit card charge that hit was from blue oval racing and to be totally honest i thnk yates, blue oval and roush is one in the same. I emailed yates and had a response in only a few hours and in the meial the guy said a few things that made me think yates might be sort of like the roush outlet dealer. anyway, they were great, the blower actualyl ships from roush, and the CC charge was from blue oval. i had zero issues and they con't do discount codes despite the fact that there is a spot for them. anyway, i had a great expirence with them.
