Planning for a supercharger soon and would like to do it correctly, I was planning on getting an upgraded drive shaft and clutch for the hp. Any other suggestions/ ideas

I'll add a question. Does a complete kit include upgraded fuel pump?

I know the vortech does. Still a not very good unless you're running low boost though.

A complete kit should be just that "complete"

Sorry they aren't complete. Some send you junk plastic reservoirs some tell you don't need this or that. You can't change the tune which gives you 400 at the back wheels and if want the 450 at the back wheels you have to buy fuel pump, injectors, etc. Some supply tiny little water bumps or junk hose and cheap clamps. You buy a complete kit and spend another $1000 up grading.

Complete for what they're offering. Are you saying some complete kits offering a certain amount of horsepower can't produce what they claim without upgrades?

No but you'll be up grading and paying twice to replace some of the junk they include. Also make sure the claim is rear wheel horse power some give crank horse power and the kits won't make 450 rear wheel horse power without upgrades and a tune.

Yeah vortech claims 850 for the t trim and I just realized yesterday that to the wheel it maxes out at 660. If you're going centri, i would recommend buying the head unit, brackets, and oil feed/drain. Everything else you will eventually end up wanting to upgrade, so might as well just buy it separately so you only have to do it once.

Brakes and suspension are a good thing to have prior to supercharging. Gotta have a way to handle the extra power better and better braking is a + as well
