I ordered this GT for myself when I learned that Sterling Gray wasn't coming back for 2012 and it just arrived at our dealership, but I'm not going to be able to buy it, so I've got to watch someone else eventually buy it instead. Looks great with the polished 18's and glass roof.....

Sweet car Brian! Sorry to hear you can't get the car as that is one of my favorite colors.

I really wanted SG when I picked up the Alloy, but I did not want an 05... wonder why Ford does not keep that color available??

 

It's the stupidist decision made for 2012...SG is probably the top three colors for the stang' and they discontinue it...WTF??

I just snowed overnight, so it may be a couple days before I can take pics of my alloy gray '07 next to the sterling gray '11.

Not necessarily waiting for the 50th; waiting for my daughters to finish college so I can afford to buy a new car again. Plus, I just bought my wife a Mazda Miata a couple months ago (it's galactic gray - very similar to sterling gray).

 

Not sure why Ford would discontinue SG for 2012 as it is very popular. Worse yet, no gray of any kind to replace it! Lava Red takes SG's place in 2012.

Sorry about your car. Why would Ford discontinue such a great color. I wish I would have bought SG. A lot easier to maintain than black.

 

Well if 2011 Sterling Grey GT's were a one year production run , that'll make our cars rarer thus more valuable in the future.
