Hope your still in that honeymoon stage and really enjoying your ride. Just had my post-delivery bugs taken care of in time for a week of 70-degree weather and all is well!

Thanks 12MCA. Admired yours for weeks and weeks, and staring and pics of yours kept me going during the wait - which was nowhere near as long as your wait.

axle backs put on last night. They sound pretty sweet but I'm not thrilled
about the drone at certain rpms. Drove it down to my daughters place in
Iowa last week 70-75+ mph got 28.7 mpg not bad for a this much fun.

They are taped on (to metal not glass) and mount tight to the body. They are raised and the edges come away from the body panel about 3/8 in. In certain light with a shadow, they do appear a bit more tacked on than from most other angles. Most angles and in most light, they look great. I considered the aftermarket ones that replace your glass window and therefore mount flush, until I learned you have to "trim" interior panels. They look awesome, but I didn't want to go that far.
I have seen some mounted with velcro, but they stick up even further from the body panel. It would be a good way to test the look on your car, but wouldn't give you a true view from all angles, and someone would have to buy and paint them.
Before I confirmed with the dealer that I wanted them, I found several pics of cars with louvers that helped solidify my decision. I'll post a couple of those until I snap some closeups of my car.
More to come...
