My re commendation would be to not do anything until you drive your new Stang. The PP is an AWESOME handling car, and some of it is due to the low profile tires on the PP wheels. Drive it flor a month then decide. Good luck!

They are Ford. Ordered with the car, but they are dealer painted and installed.

Thanks 12MCA. Admired yours for weeks and weeks, and staring and pics of yours kept me going during the wait - which was nowhere near as long as your wait.

Hope your still in that honeymoon stage and really enjoying your ride. Just had my post-delivery bugs taken care of in time for a week of 70-degree weather and all is well!

Hang in, JP. It is SO worth the wait! They say best Mustang ever and it's true. I'm really impressed with build quality, fit & finish, etc. It's a lot of car for the money.

Can't wait to see your pics!

The car has been great, no problems so far. Just got my Magnaflow Street
axle backs put on last night. They sound pretty sweet but I'm not thrilled
about the drone at certain rpms. Drove it down to my daughters place in
Iowa last week 70-75+ mph got 28.7 mpg not bad for a this much fun.

KC - Any chance you can post some close up shots inside and out of the louvers.
Thanks,
D

Will do, dball. I'll shoot for this weekend. I really like them; makes the car look like a classic fastback IMO. Only things I don't like are slightly reduced visibility, and spots on the window glass (but you have to look for them, and can only see them from the inside, looking straight on in the rear seat).

They are taped on (to metal not glass) and mount tight to the body. They are raised and the edges come away from the body panel about 3/8 in. In certain light with a shadow, they do appear a bit more tacked on than from most other angles. Most angles and in most light, they look great. I considered the aftermarket ones that replace your glass window and therefore mount flush, until I learned you have to "trim" interior panels. They look awesome, but I didn't want to go that far.

I have seen some mounted with velcro, but they stick up even further from the body panel. It would be a good way to test the look on your car, but wouldn't give you a true view from all angles, and someone would have to buy and paint them.

Before I confirmed with the dealer that I wanted them, I found several pics of cars with louvers that helped solidify my decision. I'll post a couple of those until I snap some closeups of my car.

More to come...
