How do you like your Performance White?

Just wanted to breathe some life into the color section representing our Mustangs.

Do any of you wish that you had chosen another color? Are the reasons that made you choose PW still valid? What would be your second choice of color for your Mustang?

Personally, I'm still loving my PW. White, when done right, can be very classy while not too flashy. Like they say, it's a blank canvas for you to put your artistic touch to it.

My second choice would probably be Grabber Blue. I would love to see a GB with the exact same aesthetic mods as mine. I think the blue and black would also make a hot contrast, but just a lot more flashier (which I didn't want). It would be a ride I'd love to look at, but not drive everyday.

When it came down to deciding what Mustang was right for me, I had three colors in mind. 1.) Sterling Grey, 2.) Performance White, and 3.) Silver. But Brembros and Saddle interior were my must haves. So after a comprehensive search on Ford's Dealer Connection site, I found it, Brembros, Saddle, and Performance White. It was the only Mustang in the state of California configured this way. So my hope of getting Sterling Grey gave way to Performance White. It's been 14-days and I couldn't be happier with my chose of PW.

Of the available colors, there was only one choice for me, the Performance White.

If Ford offered a vivid yellow, then I would have selected that instead.

BTW, the metal is one color, a very bright white, while the plastic and bumpers are another color, a yellowish white.

PW is a classy color. I just posted pics of my PW GT/CS. The color sold me when one day, at around 6:00 am or so, when I was driving to work, the sun just coming up, a 6 cyc PW MCA edition came around the bend and it looked glorious in that early morning setting. The black trim and red tailights go well with PW, and it makes the car scream "class."

Since I can remember, my parents took me to the local dirt track. The neighbor down the street ran a 67 mustang. All white with Ford blue numbers (outlined in silver). I have a pic and will post when I find it.

I've always though white looked racey and classy. I'm for the clean look be far.

Only disappointment, as Wingless said, is the off color of the bumpers.

And thanks Jim for posting pics of your ride. Defnitelt gives me something to think about with the glass roof, CS wheels, and the nice touch on the powerdome.

PW is beautiful. It plays well with the black trim. Very sharp.

I love my performance white stang. I do not seem to see the contrasting colors between the plastic and metal parts. My other choices were sterling grey, race red and grabber blue. I chose the white because I could never find a sterling grey nor grabber blue base GT stang on the dealer lots. Besides, I thing grabber blue is too flashy. My only options at the end were performance white and race red, but when I went to the dealer they only had the performance white in stock so I went with it. I guess it was destiny!

Ok i dont have a PW stang but my neighbor does and i gotta say it looks pretty darn nice. He blacked out his lights, decklid panel, windows, rims, and has black stripes on it and it looks sick! Ive also seen a white "new edge" stang with the same look and that one makes me wonder if black was the right choice

White was my first choice and I was a day from leaving to pick one up in a neighboring state when a snow storm hit. I did NOT want to drive the summer only tires thru snow or on icy mountain roads. So I made one last check locally for a white Performance Package (there had been several but all Blaze Yellow) and a dealer found a GB that was NOT in another local dealer's on-line inventory. GB was my second choice (like yours). But the dealer with the car was one I did not want to do business with, so I had the one that found it do a swap for me and I picked it up the next day.

I liked white better plus it allows the most options for stripes, etc. if I ever decided to do that. I didn't think I ever would but when I saw your car, GB went from close second choice to distant second choice. Curse you JimmyM! [/Colbert]

I played around in PS to see if your color scheme looked good on GB. It does but nowhere near as well as on white. The stark contrast is a key element for your car earning Mustang of the Month honors, IMO. GB and black? Not so much contrast.

Not sure what Vivid Yellow looks like but a bright yellow would have been my second choice if it was offered. I don't care for Blaze Yellow. And thanks for reminding me about the white mismatching. GB just moved back to somewhere between close second and distance second among available colors.

Good to know it's not only mine... Always wanted a white one, but the deal I got on my 05 Mineral Grey was too good to pass...

The bright yellow used on this Boss302R would have been my first choice, if offered.
