Just did the taillights too. At first I didn't think it was going to look good considering the tint doesn't cover the outside edges but it turned out well.

A bit of advice for anyone attempting this. Use a heat gun! Where the taillights curve by the first reverse light is a pita. And patience is key!

This kit came from Extreme Vinyl on eBay custom cut for my car. The whole kit was less than $50 and includes every light.

Finally put on the pony badge. I'm not going for a sleeper look by any means, just like the pony badge better than the GT one.

In case you're wondering what's under the faux cap it's this..

Attachment 104436

To get the cap off easily requires A LOT of heat and something that doesn't scratch the paint to pry it off. Trust me....I know you can see those little tool marks. FML!

Not sure about the legality of the headlight tint....or the window tint...or the front plate delete....shhhh.

I bought a full light tint kit a little while ago when I thought I wanted it, but now considering the amount of light it blocks I'll probably be removing it soon. I just hate the look of the stock headlight housing. It does look good on the marker lights though.
wow, after looking at that side by side pic, you're right, that square tip looks soooooooooooo much better. It really flows with that rear diffuser. Sell your circular ones! Btw, side note, didn't you have weld issues with your roush ab's? Did you get that resolved by the way? How's the new set?

And yeah, no worries about the tint, front plate, etc... we ALL do it

Yeah Roush stepped up and took care of everything. Sent me a brand new set and so far they're good. I added the FRPP xpipe to them recently and the sound is 100 times better.

**** it! As fate would have it, I have to save what spare money I have for my daughter's college fund and a trip to Germany next year...BUT somehow, I have to figure out a way to come up with the funds for those wheels...BTW, are those stripes painted or vinyl (my apology if you already answered that question)…thanks…Lou

Your daughter is lucky to have a dad like you. That will be a good investment. I almost was going to sell them and get something different....I think the winter was getting to me lol. Now that they're back on I love them again. As for the stripes they're vinyl from Roush. I believe a whole kit can be had for about $150-200 depending on the options you choose.

I wrapped the silver dash panels in carbon fiber. Not perfect but I like it.

I installed Polk 5x7 DXi570's in the doors too, 100000's times better than the stock garbage that came in the car. Really easy to do with the instructions and wire harnesses supplied by Crutchfield.

Also put in LED reverse lights and license plate lights.
