Lots of pics incoming.

Had a day to wash and polish her, also detailed interior. Paint is once again swirl-free (the SUN doesn't lie) Post polish, she was covered in Blackfire Sealant, then Victoria Red Concours. My favorite pics today were actually of the shift ****, my Defi boost gauge, then my Koni's/Niche's. Shots were taken with my Nikon D60, using my favorite 50mm lens.

Happy Easter and enjoy.

Needs moar brakes. And I see swirls on your shiftknob

You should do the GT500 rear rotors at least, then paint the calipers. Maybe do slotted rotors, low dust pads and braided lines while you're at it!

Its kind of a shame how small the factory brakes are and how a larger wheel can really make them look small This is a big reason why I am hesitant to buy aftermarket wheels. I know all my other car buddies would troll me about it all the time lol

Anyway, the car looks great and super clean!! Awesome pictures.

Thanks a ton, Darren. Mine can't compete against yours though. Yours has dynamic presence. So intimidating!

Shiaz, thanks buddy, but you're insane. I just posted in the other thread that I hope to be able to take pics as good as yours someday... LOL. My pics suck compared to yours.

Oh yeah? Well you need a BLOWER! Take that!!!

Kidding Patrick.

Yeah the swirls on the **** were a shock to me. I guess with the many times that I hold that thing and shift it, hand skin is pretty rough and can scratch it. Should I get out my Griots 3" and polish that thing?

As for brakes, yes, upgraded brakes are in my next to-do list. How much are GT500 rotors again? Can I just use the stock calipers? Brakes are sooooooooooooo expensive though. Slotted rotors at least in rear are what, 2k????

Eh, Patrick IS a troll, so, it's expected.

Nah, it doesn't bother me. I'm proud of my car/ride. Everything that's done on that car is by my hands. I'm ok if some folks don't dig it. I love her, and she's alllllllllllll mine. Don't let what other people think deter you from doing what YOU want. It hasn't and never will, stop me.

Slotted rotors aren't that much. There's a guy on SVTP that makes the caliper bracket for the rear, so you don't have to pull the axles to upgrade to the 13.8" rears. He sells the pair of brackets for $125 shipped, and you reuse the stock rear caliper.

Slotted rotors can be had for very little. I used Rotor Pros on my last few cars and have been very happy with them. They'll zinc coat your rotors whatever color you want too - I'd probably just do black on your car, and paint the calipers gloss black with white or maybe Kona Brembo stickers.

Check out Rotor Pros - they're like $300 shipped for a set.

Where do you find the time to do all that detailing? I feel like I never have any free time anymore to even sit on the couch haha
The Mach is back up here, actually driving her around for work today!

Yeah we'll see. Between brakes and a new hood, etc... it might be a while. The brake aspect for me is much lower priority. I love how she looks and handles right now. Maybe in the future. As for install, can't I just have a shop do the install. Easy.

The GT500 rotors are purely cosmetic for me. I hate those tiny rear rotors on our cars, especially with the Brembo package. The 15"/13.8" combo on the 13-14 GT500s is much more aesthetically balanced (and that's the only reason Ford uprated the rears on those cars - the Boss race cars still use our stock rears).

Now that I look at it, I don't think the HID's look bad at all on 10-12's. I think they just looked bad on that black car because it had the grille without the fog lights.

Your lights look waaaay better with the stock GT front than this:

Eh... I dunno. I just love the 11/12 front end, more than even the 13/14. The 11/12 paired with the GT/CS valence (which is what I have), is money... Subjective of course, but pure money. The HID look is a must. The halogens by themselves look cheap, and make the car look "old". Not for me... functionality aside even.

Yeah I was saying yours looks better with the bumper you have and the HID's do look good on the 10-12's. They just have to have fog lights I think
