I have those same fog lights sitting in my garage for the past 3 months...haven't had the time to install them...now looking at your pics, I need to find the time. :-)

Lou, you're saying you have retrofitted fog lights, like mine, that you had tinted and had halos installed?????

 

I will be storing my car for the winter yes, but not out of reach. She'll be fully insured and undercover, but ready for those rare, perfect autumn or winter sunny days (not snow of course). Our winters consist of mostly rain. Hell, the grass stays green, just really soggy

My Canon 7d is in transit to me now. I have just finished condition and sealant on the car. within the next 2 months the trees will come to life with firey colors and cool lighting. perfect for shots of the car.

 

Car storing season is coming!!

 

Went to my local cars and coffee on Sunday. Was feeling good amongst the "regulars" of a few porsches, etc. Then a 2000-something Nissan Z strolled in, with the worst PlastiDip, I repeat PLASTIDIP I have ever seen. More details on that later. I can't believe she went to a show with it.

But anyways, back to my story… was feeling ok amongst the sea of cars that were there. Then a gorgeous 911 turbo (duck tail? not sure what you call it) showed up. It was immaculate. Beautiful.

Then suddenly we all shut up. THE car rolled in. I've never seen one in person. Can you guess what car it was? More details below. It stole the show.

This was a nice custom truck with a blower… nasty. Great interior too.

And now for the drumroll… the star of the show. The King of them all. A 2015 Lamborghini Aventador. All $450k msrp, in all its glory. Owned by a man a bit older than I, in his 40's. V12, 2.6 sec 0-60. No orange peel paint. Oh, and 0 down, 60 months loan, only a $8,500 monthly payment. This guy just drives it to the show…and leaves it there for all to gawk at. Beautiful car for sure. It was impressive seeing it in person. But what are we doing wrong in life that some people can literally pay cash for this? wow… so there I was, tail between my legs, and embarrassed to even start my car and leave. But I did. And I tell you what, I smiled. I drove home and smiled, knowing that hey, Marilyn is "my" super car. I listened to my Corsas and continued on my merry way (ok ok, I was still jealous. LOL). looks good though, how long have you guys been doing the C&C? I see you have a sign and everything. What city is that in? I ask because every time you take pictures in front of buildings, they look really nice and clean.

 

Hey Bro...after looking a little harder at your fog light pictures, NO, my fogs are different. I do have the halo, but standard center bulbs. You fogs looks like they have LED...Anyway, you will be happy to know that I installed them this past Saturday...pictures to come shortly...take care...Lou

 

Who'd you have make the halos for you? I just installed xml2 LEDs on my fogs now, to compliment the halos.

 

Went for a drive downtown after I test drove the S550. Made me miss my car First set of pics for 2015.

I just love all your pictures. How do you make then look like that so clean and crisp? Also what size wheels and tires do you have on Marilyn? Your car is awsome!!

 

thanks sir! Photos range from very simple clean up edits, to some pseudo HDR. The 1st two are plain jane for example. But regardless, I use Lightroom to clean up some unsightly/unnecessary noise.

 

i thought you didn't have photoshop? lol
