Sorry for the silence...due to my job, I live in an RV Sunday night thru Friday...so I have only Friday night, Saturday and Sunday afternoon to do anything. And if you watch the news, you should know that Oklahoma and Texas has been having one heck of a wet spring. We need the water, so no complaints from me...but with all the rain, no driving in the Mustang :-)

 

Photos from last weekend. I attended a nice car show downtown. I haven't had the time lately to drive her or take pics. Sorry for the delay. Marilyn was detailed at that time with a full wash with Chemical Guys (CG) Mr. Pink, then dried with CG Speed Wipe, then lavished with CG Blacklight, then finally topped with Pinnacle Souveran.

We'll start with the unedited ones, to show the finish of the paint, Kona in all its majestic glory, and of course, her swirl free paint. And no, it's not swirl free because of washing (for those of you following that other ridiculous thread… lol). It's swirl free because of proper paint correction, and maintenance.

Some simple driveway pics. Detailed her in preparation for a 2 hour cruise to a car show tomorrow. My first big one this year. I haven't gone to this location all year. I'm just looking forward to some time alone with Marilyn…

I love my new garage "decal"… lol. Then coated her with Dodo Supernatural, which was on top of Blacklight and V7. Tried to squeeze all that in before the sun set, and before we went to the local high school football game.



















And my favorite shot of the night was simple hood shot… gotta love the wet look of perfectly polished paint under a glaze, sealant, and carnauba.

 

Installed my new Amsoil blue air filter... the gave her a light polish with my Flex/white/gray pads, and CG V36 and 38. Coated with Blackfire then Supernatural. Need to keep her paint perfect and swirl free before storage soon. Then took her out for a drive... Probably my last photoshoot with her this year. I'll just post a few now, then more throughout winter...that way I have something to remember her by. lol. Stupid winter. Enjoy. Kona Blue FTW.

 

Like I've said before, you live in such a nice, clean, and upcoming city! What is the name of that building in the background? Alliant Energy??
