Sylvio at Steeda did a great job today with my baby. New plugs, belts, and fluids. I used MTL Redline 70W80 and I can feel a real difference in the smoothness of the gear changes. Just goes in a little smoother now. This should help at the strip. But the best thing is the new FRPP X-pipe. What a great sound she makes now. Drives like new and sounds better than ever! I will take video of the exhaust tomorrow and post so you can hear the over run pops and burbles. She also screams over 4000 RPM. Just wicked!

Glad to see another guy using similar parts on the same vehicle bought from the same place! Great build so far! Can't wait till spring to get modding again and install the parts I got laying around! I too am going to try and run my car at Mosport this season

In terms of exhaust I highly recommend the Ford Racing Sport axle-backs! Gives you that nice authentic musclecar tone..and there deep. I think it would be a great match to your x-pipe..if your stuck on a cat back the Borla touring or atacks would be my choice. Two of the best exhaust systems on the market sound and quality wise.

Thanks AngrySmurf! I was thinking of the cat backs just to open up the remainder of the exhaust but have been looking at the FRPP Sports. I like the sound and with the new rumble she should sound pretty fierce.

Where in T.O. are you? Have we seen each other at any other shows? When I placed the order for mine at Erinwood, they told me nobody had ordered one in a while and tried to talk me into a difference colour...guess they were wrong! PM me if you're in the Mississauga area. I also plan on going to Mosport this summer. After installing everything and my sticky tires I need to go round and round, not just in a straight line! Plus I want to screw with Porsches and M 3's.

No problem bud! I have no doubts the FRPP's will give you what your looking for! Wish they had made a catback version but eventually I may just get 2.5" custom piping done although I think gains would be minimal.

I'm in the Vaughan area! I don't believe we have..in my area I'm basically the only grabber blue v6..and prob the only modified cyclone lol..been to tons of shows and haven't seen any others besides another Shelby and GT for the most part. I do go to a lot of the local car shows and meets and hope to attend way more this year! Been to Erinwood many times, I ordered mine from Twinhill in Richmondhill. I do actually go to Mississauga quite a bit and Milton only when hitting up Steeda and Legendary Cars! Unfortunately its winter right now and my cars stored till May

I know what your saying, my whole build actually revolves around functionality and my main focus has always been on handling. Our cars put out impressive numbers stock, ill pm you and share some interesting info. Its funny how I first saw your car on youtube ans noticed Steeda's shop lol! Can't wait to install what I have lying around and get back to mods!

Just ordered at set of GT500 rear splash guards to protect the back from stone chips. With the wider tires and all. $60.00 from the local Ford dealer, and I should have them tomorrow.

There are several different sets available now and I really liked the molded look of the GT500's. I will be installing these after the snow hits tomorrow. Pics soon.

Here are the part numbers as they are separate to order.

Right side
AR3Z-16A550-AA

Left side
AR3Z-16A550-AB

It was cold and miserable yesterday but the modding bug is in me and I had to do something.

The splash guards were really a simple install. 3 screws per side and done.

In sorry the pics are small. I'll adjust them later from my pc. I can post a shot of the steelies when she gets a wash tomorrow.

Now the best part of my weekend. I just ordered the RTR spoiler from late model and will be ordering the DS on Wednesday. These two mods have been on my list for a year but I never had the cash as my house is priority.

Here's a shot of the spoiler from lm's site.

Was going to the dealer to order a set of splash guards tomorrow, thanks for the info. They look great and an easy install. Where did you get yours?

RTR spoiler is on my list too. Just never have the cash for it because I'm spending it somewhere else. It's going to look great on there!!

Thank you. I grabbed the guards at Erinwood Ford, but make sure the parts guy understands you want the GT500 guards as Ford makes 5 different kinds and it took the senior manager to understand the ones I wanted and I even had the correct parts number when I went in. They are ordered separately and come one in a bag.

The spoiler will be in next week and the shaft will be ordered this week but until the weather decides to cooperate I'll have to wait a couple weeks to install them. I will take detailed pics and log the spoiler install because I know there are few guides on the removal of the original.

I'm also thinking about changing the rear brakes to match the front and that's another $300 I need to come up with.

Now, I am debating selling my original MCA graphite 18" wheels, that are in amazing condition, but I really love them and I don't know if I should. If anyone is interested I will consider offers, you can PM me. They are in most of these pics so no need to ask what they look like.

Shots of the cvpi wheels. Caught a kid kicking my plate last week. Had to fix it until I can get a new one. Used hockey tape. Lol it works.

I think at that moment my brain went into self preservation mode and I remember thinking if I chase him and catch him I'd actually hurt this kid, he looked about 14. I did shout several profanities at him and something about hoping he never sees me again. Actually had a hard time sleeping that night thinking, are these mods worth it just to be destroyed by punk kids and their jealousy. I'm still waiting for my chrome valve stem caps to disappear.

About the centre caps I really do like the chrome ones and they are $100.00 for the four. Next winter I'll spring for them. I'm ordering the Aluminum Driveshaft tonight and it should be delivered in about 10 days. AM ships it to Steeda so I can grab it locally and if there are any issues Steeda sends it back without any hassle, plus they don't up charge me on the price, just convert the funds. If anyone has any tips on the install they would be appreciated, as I will be installing it in my driveway on stands.

Nice man! I thought the gt500 splash guards didn't fit the stock v6 rear valance properly? Unless you have the gt500 valance..can't really tell from the pic?

Ty! Yes they do fit. Just right. Minor alignment and they look perfect.

After a few days of having problems with my computer and internet connection I finally have it sorted and managed to post a video of the new FRPP X-pipe paired with my Steeda cold air intake. Right now it's set to the 87 octane tune for winter but it will be adjusted in a few weeks. Might even sound more aggressive. You can also see a better view of the new splash guards. They are doing their job as the dirt and water lines are further back on the valence not the paint.

I will get the pics up as soon as the weather co-operates.
