I'm looking into doing somethin like this. Would you be able to tell me where you tapped into the dome light? I don't think there would be a big difference in the. Newer model & my 05. I could be very wrong though.

I basically followed this for the install:

But, instead of tapping into the wires on the A pillar, I went over to the dome light and used the two wires coming in and out of the light just to be sure.
